About

Mr Murugu Kalai Selvan Masilamani (known as Mr Selvan) is a Consultant Urological Surgeon who works at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton. He is an expert in managing general urological conditions and has developed subspeciality interest in prostate and bladder related conditions.

His primary medical qualification was from the University of Madras, India in 1993. He obtained his postgraduate general surgical qualification (M.S General surgery) at Stanley Medical College. After moving to UK, in 2000, He completed the Fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2000 and subsequently Fellowship in Urology.

His practice includes all aspects of general and diagnostic urology, investigations for urinary symptoms including bladder pressure test- urodynamics. He also carries out surgical treatment for Benign prostatic enlargement, bladder stone laser surgeries. He regularly performs flexible cystoscopy, adult circumcisions, scrotal and testicular surgeries for benign and malignant conditions.
