Mr Mohammad Masood

Mr Mohammad Masood is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and Clinical Lead for Gynaecological Services at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust — one of the largest NHS trusts in East London and Essex, serving a population of over half a million. He brings this substantial NHS experience to his private consultations and procedures at Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital.

With the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS Ed), the Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG), and a specialist Diploma in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy, Mr Masood has a breadth of training that distinguishes him in his field. Mr Masood is an experienced advanced laparoscopic surgeon. He performs total laparoscopic hysterectomy (TLH), laparoscopic myomectomy, and laparoscopic treatment of endometriosis and ovarian cysts as his routine surgical approach — offering patients significantly reduced recovery time, smaller incisions, and lower complication rates compared with open surgery.

Menopause and HRT

Mr Masood offers thorough menopause assessments and prescribes the full range of current HRT options, including transdermal body-identical oestrogen and micronised progesterone (the recommended first-line regimen in current UK practice), vaginal oestrogen for urogenital symptoms, and testosterone supplementation where appropriate. Aesthetic Gynaecology

Mr Masood performs labiaplasty and vaginal laser rejuvenation as part of his aesthetic practice.
