Mr Mohammad Shoaib is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital.  Mr Shoaib completed his higher surgical training in four different regions of the UK working with some world renowned orthopaedic surgeons at The Royal Infirmary and Princess Margaret Rose University teaching hospitals in Edinburgh, Newcastle General and Freeman Hospitals in Newcastle -upon-Tyne, The Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen Hospitals and The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham.

As a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon he has extensive experience in lower limb total joint replacement and reconstruction.

Mr Shoaib’s specialist interests are in hip and knee disorders including primary routine and complex total hip and knee replacement, hip and knee surgery for young adults, uni-compartmental knee replacement and arthroscopic knee surgery. As well as treating degenerative disorders, he offers treatment for knee injuries including meniscus repair, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and patellofemoral instability/mal-tracking.

On average Mr Shoaib performs 500 elective operations per year, including 250 – 300 hip and knee joint replacements.

He also performs general foot and ankle surgical procedures including corrective bunion surgery, Morton’s neuroma, mid foot and hind foot arthritis, painful heel and posttraumatic pain and deformities. He also has extensive experience in trauma, both in children as well as adults.
