About

Mr Luigi Volpini is a Consultant ENT Surgeon with a specialist interest in head and neck surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and head and neck reconstruction.

Mr Volpini has over 15 years’ experience across the full spectrum of ear, nose and throat, head and neck surgery and oncology. He is particularly interested in malignant and benign lumps and growths in the head and neck, early diagnosis of throat and mouth cancers, treatment of thyroid and parathyroid nodules, and head and neck skin cancer treatment.

Education

Mr Volpini holds fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology. He completed a prestigious Senior Clinical Fellowship in Advanced Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at Guy’s Hospital, London, followed by a subspecialist Fellowship in Head, Neck, Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery at Aintree University Hospital, Liverpool.

He subsequently undertook uniquely advanced and rigorous training in Head and Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in the United States.

Teaching

A keen educator, he regularly serves as faculty on specialist head and neck surgery courses, helping to train and inspire the next generation of surgeons.

Mr Volpini focuses on delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care. He is known for taking time to explain diagnosis and treatment options clearly, ensuring each patient feels fully informed and supported throughout their surgical journey.
