About
Mr Apostolou is a qualified Plastic Surgeon working in the NHS and private practice. He trained in medicine in Athens University Medical School in his native Greece. His training in Plastic surgery took place in the United Kingdom and abroad. Following his Specialty qualification Mr Apostolou undertook higher training in Head & Neck, microsurgery and skin cancer at the acclaimed St Andrews Centre in Chelmsford, Essex, and Reconstructive Breast surgery and post-bariatric reconstruction at St Vincent’s University Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
Mr Apostolou’s Specialist interest in the NHS is Skin Cancer and Head & Neck surgery. Mr Apostolou established the Service for the management of adult Facial Palsy for the first time in the North Midlands.
Mr Apostolou’s main clinical interest in the private practice includes cosmetic breast and torso procedures, including breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, and abdominoplasty, while he is developing his practice in cosmetic facial surgery, an area where he has substantial experience. Other areas of interest include cosmetic ear surgery, scar management, removal of skin lumps and surgical management of tattoos.
Mr Apostolou’s approach to his work is based on honesty, safety and quality. He relies on excellent communication and support for the patients to ensure lasting patient satisfaction.
