About

Mr Varad is a consultant ENT surgeon based in Surrey. 

He has a sub-specialist interest in children’s ENT. He is also highly skilled in all areas of general adult ENT with interests in rhinology and skin cancer. 

Mr Varad graduated from King’s College London and completed his ENT surgical training in London and the South East of England. At the end of his training, he completed the prestigious Great Ormond Street Hospital Paediatric ENT fellowship, developing expertise in the full range of children’s ENT conditions. 

He provides a regional paediatric ENT service in Surrey and works with neonatologists and paediatricians in treating sick children and babies.

Mr Varad is the clinical lead for Children’s ENT services across South London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex (South Thames Paediatric Network). In this role he hopes to improve quality and accessibility of children’s ENT care in the South East of England."  

He is accomplished in Coblation intracapsular tonsillectomy, a newer and more gentle form of tonsillectomy used in children. He also has an interest in paediatric head and neck lumps and bumps.

He is a core member of the skin cancer multidisciplinary team at Ashford and St. Peter’s NHS Trust.
