About
Mr. Jawad Ahmad is a highly experienced consultant surgeon specialising in general and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) surgery. He performs a variety of surgeries related to the liver, pancreas, gallbladder, bile duct, and hernias, using both laparoscopic and robotic techniques for benign and cancerous conditions. His outcomes are outstanding and a few of his patient reviews can be viewed on Top Doctors in UK.
Mr Ahmad is a high achiever and a very skilled surgeon. He has been leading robotic surgery and is the first robotic HPB trainer in the UK, and one of only five in Europe. He has trained many senior surgeons from the UK and Europe helping them start their own robotic surgery programs.
Mr Ahmad is also an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Warwick. He is actively involved in research and quality improvement projects to enhance patient care and outcomes. His expertise is well-respected in the surgical community.
He is available for outpatient consultations at Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital. While he performs traditional surgeries at this hospital, he also offers consultations for robotic surgery, which can be done through the NHS when appropriate.
