About
Mr Sharma is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon that holds a substantive NHS post at The Countess of Chester Hospital caring for patients from Cheshire, North Wales, the Wirral and beyond.
Having graduated with honours from Cambridge University medical school, Mr Sharma completed his higher Plastic surgical training within the prestigious Pan Thames programme in London. Following this Mr Sharma was competitively awarded the International Fellow position at the world famous St Vincent's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. Here, Mr Sharma gained great experience into all fields of Plastic Surgery including Breast and Cosmetic Surgery.
Mr Sharma has undertaken further fellowships including one of the world’s most highly sought after Microsurgical Breast Fellowships in Chelmsford and the prestigious Wellington Cosmetic Fellowship. This is one of only a few dedicated cosmetic fellowships, working out of some of country’s top private hospitals: The Wellington Hospital and King Edward VII (the Royal Hospital).
Mr Sharma has published and presented internationally on his work. This included his involvement with the world’s first documented four DIEP breast reconstruction free flaps in four different patients in one day in a single operating theatre.
Having successfully completed rigorous surgical training and practised at world class Plastic Surgery units, Mr Sharma is equipped with the latest techniques and skills for treating his patients. He has outstanding clinical expertise and has acquired unique insight and intuition into patient care and safety, putting these factors at the forefront of his practice."
