About
Mr Patel obtained his BD in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Liverpool Medical School in 1994. He subsequently completed his surgical training on the North East Thames Higher Surgical Rotation and has worked in a number of specialist colorectal centres, including St Mark’s and Mount Sinai Hospitals in Toronto.
Mr Patel holds a Masters degree in Surgery from the University of London and has published a number of articles in scientific medical journals concerning colorectal cancer.
Special interests
Bowel cancer, hernia surgery, gallstones, colonoscopy, haemorrhoids, anal fistula and fissures, and complex pilonidal sinus disease (karydakis flap). HALO for haemorrhoids. Muscle relaxant injections for unhealed anal fissures.
