Mr Edward Wood is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in foot and ankle surgery, providing high‑quality, modern care for both routine and complex foot and ankle conditions. He works at Nuffield Health The Grosvenor Hospital, Chester, and The Countess of Chester Hospital, offering comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment for a full range of lower‑limb problems.
Mr Wood graduated from Liverpool Medical School in 1996 and completed his basic and higher surgical training within the Mersey region. He then undertook a dedicated one‑year Foot and Ankle Fellowship, further enhancing his expertise in complex foot and ankle disorders and advanced surgical techniques.
Since being appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in 2009, Mr Wood has played an active role in service development, clinical governance and maintaining high standards of orthopaedic care within his department.
