Mr David Izadi

Mr David Izadi is a multi-award-winning Consultant Plastic Surgeon based at Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital in Leamington Spa. With over 20 years of specialist experience, he is uniquely fellowship trained in both aesthetic surgery, advanced cosmetic rhinoplasty and complex hand and peripheral nerve surgery. As an elected council member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) and a Fellow of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH), Mr Izadi is a leading authority on patient safety and surgical excellence in the West Midlands.

A graduate of the University of Cambridge with honours, Mr Izadi’s clinical approach is rooted in academic excellence. At the University of Oxford, his groundbreaking work on the molecular pathways of Dupuytren’s disease earned him several research grants and the prestigious International Dupuytren Award for best global research. He has published over 45 papers in the scientific literature, presented at over 80 national and international meetings, several as an invited speaker. He is a leading figure in plastic and cosmetic surgery education, helping to organise several national and international scientific meetings to date. Mr Izadi sits on the BAAPS council as an elected member. BAAPS is the leading UK organisation for safety and standards of patients undergoing cosmetic surgery. 

Mr Izadi is a nationally recognised specialist in rhinoplasty (nose reshaping) and serves as the organiser of the UK’s premier facial aesthetic course, "Face, Eyes, Nose.” He is one of a few specialists in the UK offering complex rhinoplasty surgery both within the private sector as well as the NHS, as part of the Complex Rhinoplasty MDT.

In his NHS role as the Education Lead for Plastic Surgery at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW), Mr Izadi treats some of the most complex nerve injuries in the region. He is one of only a few surgeons in the UK performing specialised surgery for nerve pain and upper limb spasticity (following stroke, brain injuries or cerebral palsy). His private practice at Nuffield Health offers:

• Minimally Invasive Procedures: Minimal-access carpal tunnel release, Trigger finger release and needle fasciotomy for Dupuytren’s disease.
• Surgery for advanced Dupuytren’s disease (fasciectomy and dermofasciectomy)

Mr Izadi's consultation fee for new patients is £200 for a 30-minute appointment. Follow-up consultations are £150 for a 15-minute appointment.
