About

Mr David Beattie is a highly experienced Consultant Vascular and General Surgeon in Chichester, West Sussex, specialising in varicose vein treatment, hernia surgery and minor surgical procedures. He offers private consultations at Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital, providing fast access to expert care without long waiting times.

Mr Beattie qualified in Medicine from Guy’s Hospital, University of London, and completed advanced surgical training at leading London teaching hospitals, including St Mary’s, Charing Cross and Hammersmith Hospitals.

He went on to complete a Doctorate (MD) at Imperial College London, where his research focused on improving outcomes in vascular surgery. His work has been widely published and presented internationally.

Since becoming a Consultant in 2002, he has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality surgical care in both NHS and private practice across West Sussex.

With over 30 years’ experience, Mr Beattie treats patients from across Chichester, Worthing, Bognor Regis and the surrounding areas of West Sussex, delivering safe, effective, and personalised surgical care.

Mr Beattie has a particular interest in the treatment of varicose veins, using the latest minimally invasive techniques to achieve excellent results with faster recovery. His treatments include:
