About
Mr Youseef is a highly experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in hip and knee surgery.
He treats patients with hip and knee arthritis, failed or infected joint replacements and complex joint disorders. He has particular expertise in:
- Primary and revision joint replacement
- Complex joint reconstruction
- Periprosthetic joint infection (infection around implants).

Education and specialist training
Mr Youseef graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2002 and went on to complete Higher Surgical Training on the Birmingham Orthopaedic Training Programme, based at the internationally recognised Royal Orthopaedic Hospital.
He further refined his subspecialist expertise during a dedicated one‑year Hip and Knee Fellowship at the Centre for Hip Surgery, Wrightington Hospital – a nationally acclaimed centre for joint replacement and orthopaedic excellence.
To broaden his experience, Mr Youseef has also trained internationally as a visiting fellow or observer at leading global institutions, including:
- Hospital for Special Surgery, New York
- Holland Arthritis Centre, Toronto
- St John’s Hospital, Los Angeles.
These international placements strengthened his skills in
advanced joint replacement, revision surgery and complex reconstruction.
