About

Mr Khan is a Consultant Ophthalmologist working as Lead for High Volume Cataract Surgery at University Hospitals Sussex (St Richards, Worthing and Southlands Hospitals).

He has a specialist interest in complex cataract surgery, glaucoma and general ophthalmology, bringing the latest innovations and cutting-edge techniques in medical and surgical care of various eye conditions.

Dr Khan has 16 years of experience as an Ophthalmologist and has worked in Devon and Liverpool before moving to West Sussex.

Offering a comprehensive glaucoma service including diagnosis, medical treatment, and the modern laser therapies, such as selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) for open-angle glaucoma, the latest minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), Mr Khan advocates personalised care with a tailored approach to every patient, ensuring that treatment plans are designed around individual need. 

Mr Khan offers a range of lenses for cataract surgery patients (monofocal, extended depth of focus, Toric and Multifocal) and will spend time finding the right lens for your own circumstance.  

Other interests

Botox, laser (capsulotomy, SLT, Peripheral Iridotomy, Retinopexy) anti VEGF injection for diabetes, macular degeneration and vein occlusion.
