About
Mr Marino completed his medical degree at Guy’s Hospital Medical School, University of London, in 1990. He trained in Orthopaedic Surgery in the West Midlands. He gained experience across major centres, including the Selly Oak Trauma Unit and the Spinal Unit at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital.
He undertook advanced Spinal Surgery training at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry under Professor Eisenstein (2001). He also completed a Spinal Fellowship at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham with Mr Webb (2002).
Mr Marino was appointed as a Consultant at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust in 2002. He continues to work as a Spinal Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon for the NHS and in private practice at Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital.
He is actively involved in medical education. He teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate trainees and serves as the Foundation Programme Clinical Tutor for Orthopaedics at New Cross Hospital. He is also a Board Member of the West Midlands Regional Spinal Network.
