About
Miss Mall completed her extensive ophthalmology specialist training in the West Midlands and Oxford regions working at both the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre and Oxford Eye Hospitals. She also gained further expertise by completing a Medical Retina fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.
Miss Mall is currently a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS trust. Previously, Miss Mall worked as a Consultant at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust where she was the Clinical Lead for the Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD) Service and successfully implemented changes to modernise the Medical Retina service at this trust.
Her subspecialty within ophthalmology is medical retina and cataract surgery with specialist interests in AMD, diabetic eye disease and retinal vein occlusions. She has expertise in the management of retinal and macular disease with laser and intravitreal therapies. In addition to this she also provides services in glaucoma and general ophthalmology.
