About
Miss Khan is an experienced gynaecologist who is committed to delivering evidence based, high quality, patient-centred care for women. She believes that the foundation of excellent women's healthcare is listening to women, understanding their concerns and working together to develop individualised care plan.
Miss Khan completed her specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology in South Thames London Deanery rotational training programme. Miss Khan was appointed as a substantive NHS Consultant in 2011 and has held additional senior management and leadership roles.
She has authored several publications in peer reviewed journals. Her published work on pregnancy outcome following bariatric surgery has been featured by the BBC (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-20979355). She has also provided expert commentary for the BBC London News on polycystic ovary syndrome. Miss Khan is passionate about educating women on their health and contributes to TV programmes promoting women's health awareness.
