About

Deepti Cheema is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Lead for Gynaecology Governance at the University Hospitals of Birmingham.

She completed her degree as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences India in 2002. She pursued her postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in UK and obtained MRCOG with Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2009. She has been working as a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist since 2016.

She is a passionate and enthusiastic doctor who believes in a holistic approach and patient-centred care. Her special interests include Gynaecology scanning, menstrual problems, contraception, sexual health, perimenopause and menopausal health, hysteroscopic and laparoscopic procedures.

If required, Miss Cheema is able to offer cervical screening during an initial appointment.
