About

Mr Shahid Khan is an experienced Consultant Urological Surgeon specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of urinary and male reproductive conditions. His practice covers general and core urology, with particular expertise in stone disease, benign prostate enlargement, overactive bladder symptoms, and rapid, accurate diagnostic pathways for both benign and cancer‑related concerns.

He provides comprehensive assessment for common urological symptoms such as urinary frequency, urgency, difficulty passing urine, recurrent infections, blood in the urine and testicular or scrotal problems. His diagnostic approach is thorough and modern, making use of key investigations including urodynamics, cystoscopy, prostate screening, kidney and bladder ultrasound, CT imaging, blood tests, and histopathology analysis when biopsies are required.

Mr Khan also offers a broad range of urological treatments and procedures, from minimally invasive options to more complex surgery. These include endoscopic kidney stone treatment, hydrocele surgery, circumcision, vasectomy, vasectomy reversal, and procedures for prostate enlargement such as TURP, HoLEP, and Prostatic Urethral Lift (UroLift). He also manages bladder cancer through procedures such as TURBT, and coordinates care for patients requiring laparoscopic radical prostatectomy.

He is committed to providing clear explanations and personalised treatment plans, ensuring patients feel informed and supported at every stage. Mr Khan speaks Hindi and Urdu fluently and understands Punjabi and Gujarati, allowing him to care for a diverse patient community with ease and sensitivity.
