Dr Khorshid is a Consultant Dermatologist for Dermatology Services for South Essex, based at the Arthur Rook Centre for Dermatology, Basildon Hospital. He also work at Barts Health NHS Trust as a Senior Lecturer in Dermatopathology.
Dr Khorshid started his specialist dermatology training at Shiraz University, Iran in 1990 and he completed at The Royal Free Hospital, London in 1998. He also trained at St John’s Dermatology Centre, St Thomas’ Hospital, St Bartholomew’s Hospital and The Royal London Hospital.
Dr Khorshid’s main sub-specialist interest is skin pathology for which he qualified in 1996 becoming a Diplomat of The Royal College of Pathology. His training and experience in Dermatology, Dermatological surgery and Dermatopathology have enabled him to provide a comprehensive service to his patients with any form of skin disease.
Dr Khorshid’s work involves clinical and microscopic diagnosis and management of all forms of skin complaints particularly different forms of skin cancer which is his main special interest. He, particularly enjoys teaching and training and contributes to both post and undergraduate training in Medicine, Dermatology and Dermatopathology in Essex and at the Barts and London Trust.
