About
Dr Reggie John has been working as a specialist in diabetes and Endocrinology (hormone-related conditions) since 2005.
He currently works as a Consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes and is the Pituitary Lead at Good Hope Hospital, part of University Hospitals Birmingham.
His areas of expertise include all aspects of general endocrinology and diabetes-related conditions, such as thyroid and pituitary disorders, raised prolactin, polycystic ovary syndrome (PMOS/PCOS), hormonal imbalances, adrenal conditions, calcium and bone disorders, and obesity.

Education
Dr John qualified in medicine in India in 1987 (MBBS) and went on to complete further specialist training, gaining a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 1994. He moved to the UK in 1999 to continue further training and achieved MRCP in 2003.
In 2011, he successfully completed the Specialty Certificate Examination in Diabetes and Endocrinology and received the certificate, jointly awarded by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK, the Society for Endocrinology, and the Association of British Clinical Diabetologists.
