About
Dr Rachael Jolley is an experienced General Practitioner working across both private practice and the NHS. She began her career as a paediatric nurse in paediatric intensive care before completing her medical degree at Keele University in 2013. Her broad clinical background includes roles in medicine, surgery, emergency care, neonatal medicine, obstetrics & gynaecology and psychiatry.
Since qualifying as a GP in 2018, Dr Jolley has developed a strong interest in women’s health, children’s health, safeguarding and holistic family medicine. In 2021, she was appointed Named GP for Child Safeguarding for North Staffordshire and Stoke‑on‑Trent, alongside her ongoing NHS GP role.
She is known for her warm, patient‑centred approach, taking time to understand each patient’s individual needs and providing clear, personalised care based on the latest medical guidance.

Research
Dr Jolley first qualified as a paediatric nurse in 2007 working on paediatric intensive care at UHNM. She then undertook her undergraduate medical training at Keele University, graduating in 2013. During her 5 years as a junior doctor, she worked in various specialties, including Medicine, Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Neonatal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Psychiatry, before qualifying as a GP in 2018.
She was employed as a salaried GP at two practices in Trentham until September 2021 when she was successfully appointed as the Named GP for Child Safeguarding for North Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent. She works as an NHS GP alongside this role.
