About
Dr Das is an experienced Consultant Cardiologist specialising in coronary angioplasty, ischaemic heart disease, heart valve disorders and general cardiology.
Education
He qualified in Medicine at Oxford University and completed general cardiology training in Manchester, followed by an MD thesis at St Thomas’ Hospital, London, where he conducted research into heart valve disease.
He later undertook advanced specialist training in coronary angioplasty and stenting in Melbourne, gaining expertise in complex percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
Clinical experience
In 2009, he established the North Wales angioplasty service, significantly improving access to life‑saving cardiac procedures across the region.
As the Lead Cardiologist for Percutaneous Coronary Intervention within the North Wales Cardiac Network, Dr Das plays a key role in developing and delivering advanced interventional cardiology services.
