About
Dr Nirshanthan Nagarajah is an experienced general practitioner with a strong foundation in hospital medicine and medical education. After graduating from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Medical School in 2002, he undertook extensive postgraduate hospital training across major centres including University College Hospital, Addenbrooke’s, the London Chest Hospital, and Queen’s Hospital. His broad acute and hospital experience spans cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology, respiratory medicine, and intensive care.
Holding dual post-graduate memberships with both the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP), Dr Nagarajah operates as a general physician within primary care. He offers thorough, diagnostic-led consultations for complex, multi-system health concerns, chronic disease management, and preventative health.
Central to his practice is the belief that effective care begins with truly understanding the patient. Dr Nagarajah takes the time to listen and review health concerns from the ground up, allowing patients to start afresh with a clear, holistic management plan. Drawing on his extensive hospital network built over two decades of clinical practice, he serves as a central lynchpin in his patients' care, ensuring that when sub-specialist input is needed, referrals are precise, timely, and directed to trusted experts.
Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Nagarajah holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from the University of Cambridge, where he serves as Assistant Director of General Practice Studies. His academic involvement keeps his practice aligned with current clinical evidence and medical training standards.
