About
I completed my basic, intermediate and higher training in anaesthesia, intensive care and pain management in Alexandria, Egypt University Hospitals where I achieved a Master's and PhD degrees. I did an overseas fellowship at Aix-Marseille University Hospitals in France where I was awarded an advanced diploma in regional and general anaesthesia(DFMSA). I then finished my European diploma in anaesthesia pain management and intensive care before I moved to the UK where I was awarded entry on the specialist register. I then sub-specialised in chronic and acute pain management by undertaking an advanced pain management fellowship at St Helens and Knowsley hospitals. I am a consultant in anaesthesia and pain management at the Countess of Chester Hospital and I am also the trust’s lead for acute pain management.
