About
Dr Michael Michail is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Sussex Cardiac Centre, Brighton. His clinical expertise encompasses the management of all cardiac conditions including chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, dizziness, blackouts, valve disease, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
Dr Michail has a specialist interest in the management of coronary artery disease and structural heart disease.
He performs cardiac procedures including coronary angiography, pressure wire studies, intravascular imaging, coronary angioplasty and transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI).
Dr Michail graduated from St George’s Hospital Medical School, London in 2008.
He undertook training in large tertiary centres in London including The Heart
Hospital UCLH and Barts Heart Centre. He completed a 3-year overseas PhD and
interventional fellowship at MonashHeart, Melbourne, Australia in collaboration
with University College London
