Dr Martin Wilson is an experienced Consultant Neurologist with expertise in MS, Inflammatory Neurological Disorders and General Neurology.
He works at Nuffield Health The Grosvenor Hospital, Chester, and has had a long‑standing NHS career at The Walton Centre and Countess of Chester Hospital. Appointed as a Consultant Neurologist in 2005, he now divides his NHS practice between general neurology and specialist clinics for multiple sclerosis (MS) and inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system.

Personal interests
Dr Wilson lives in North Cheshire with his wife and four children. Outside work, he enjoys 5‑a‑side football and cycling to Chester when the weather allows.

Dr Wilson completed postgraduate research focused on novel MRI techniques for monitoring MS, earning a Doctorate with distinction in 2001. His work has been published in peer‑reviewed journals and continues to influence modern MS imaging and monitoring.
He remains active in clinical research and is currently Principal or Co‑Investigator for multiple phase 2 and phase 3 clinical trials investigating new therapeutic agents for MS. His involvement ensures patients benefit from the latest advances in neurological treatment.
