Dr Lilia Khafizova

Dr Lilia Khafizova is a Consultant Radiologist with specialist expertise in gynaecological and urogenital tract imaging, alongside a broad practice in general oncological imaging.

She graduated from the University of Crete in 2012 and subsequently moved to the UK to undertake specialist radiology training. Her training took place within the Mersey and London Deaneries, where she rotated through major university hospitals including Aintree and Guy’s and St Thomas’. She became a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2017.

In 2019, Dr Khafizova was appointed as a Consultant Radiologist at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, with a particular focus on abdominal, gynaecological and urogenital tract radiology.

Her current practice includes performing general and internal gynaecological ultrasound examinations and reporting a wide range of body CT imaging. She has specialist expertise in MRI of the pelvis, endometriosis and the urogenital tract. Dr Khafizova has published several articles in peer‑reviewed scientific journals and is actively involved in teaching radiology trainees and medical students.
