About

As a general practitioner, I strive to provide a high-quality, holistic approach to the management of the health and wellbeing of my patients. I am particularly interested in lifestyle medicine and I feel passionately about empowering patients to make changes to aspects of their nutrition and lifestyle in order to improve or prevent chronic disease. I have experience in all aspects of general practice, including women’s health and children’s health. I am a Portfolio GP in the West Essex and North East London areas. I work as an appraiser and have been involved in facilitating the education of both medical students and GPs in training. I also work with West Essex CCG looking at funding requests and clinical policies.

I qualified from Guys and St Thomas’ Medical School in 2004 and have worked in teaching hospitals within London gaining experience in many medical and surgical specialities. I decided to focus on general practice, enjoying the breadth of knowledge that is required in this area. I have been practicing as an NHS GP since 2009. I feel having a variety of roles adds to my skillset and ensures I remain at the forefront of changes in medicine.

I am kept busy by my three lively children and enjoy cooking, reading and travelling.
