Dr Mansoubi graduated with Honours from University of London having gained a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Dr Mansoubi was granted professional registration August 1997.
He completed his membership Royal College of Physicians in 2000 and went on to do further post graduate training at Guy’s and St. Thomas Hospital London. In 2006 he obtained his Fellowship in the Royal College of Radiologists.
Following his formal training he started a one year fellowship in Cardiothoracic imaging at Papworth Hospital Cambridge, including a dedicated programme of training in cardiac CT at Erlangen University Hospital in Germany. He went on to complete an intensive period of training in functional cardiac MRI at Southampton General Hospital.
Dr Mansoubi was appointed consultant radiologist at St. Richard’s Hospital September 2008, with subspecialty interest in non-invasive imaging particularly of the heart and lung, together with functional imaging and image-guided intervention in the thorax.
He is the lead radiologist in thoracic multidisciplinary team meeting and a member of the European Society of Thoracic Imaging and British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging.
