Dr Edward Clode-Baker

Dr Edward Clode-Baker is an experienced General Practitioner (GP) with over 20 years of NHS experience in Leicestershire, and has been working in private general practice since 2013. He graduated from Leicester University School of Medicine in 1996 and qualified as a GP in 2003.

Dr Clode-Baker has extensive experience supporting patients from a wide range of demographic and ethnic backgrounds, across all age groups. He is highly skilled in managing undifferentiated symptoms and complex health concerns, providing clear guidance through diagnosis and treatment.

He is particularly adept at navigating the interface between NHS and private care, helping patients access the most appropriate services based on their needs and preferences.

Dedicated to patient-centred, personalised care, Dr Clode-Baker takes the time to listen, understand, and support each patient’s unique circumstances.

Please note the following services are not provided:

• Emergency or out-of-hours care – please contact NHS 111 or 999

• Minor surgery

• Contraceptive coils and implant services

• Medical certification for scuba diving or aviation

• 24-hour health cover or emergency services

• Repeat prescriptions (except where treatment was initiated by Dr Clode-Baker or in exceptional circumstances)

• Ongoing monitoring of long-term conditions more appropriately managed by the NHS

• Treatment for reactions to prescribed medications (this constitutes an emergency)

• Routine provision of sick notes for conditions not being treated by Nuffield Health GP services
