About

I qualified in Medicine at the University of Oxford in 2006, after completing a four-year Medical Sciences degree at the University of St Andrews.

I originally trained as a hospital physician and was fortunate to gain experience across several hospitals in southern England. After completing my hospital training, I began training in Haematology before realising that my true calling was General Practice. One aspect of the job I enjoy most is having the opportunity to get to know my patients and work with them to achieve the best possible outcomes.

I believe I am both caring and thorough in my work, and I always strive to ensure my patients receive the highest standard of assessment and treatment.

I have been a Partner at Shere Surgery in the Surrey Hills since 2016 and feel very fortunate to have my base there, as well as at Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital. This has also enabled me to get to know local consultants and their specialist interests, helping me to provide informed advice and make appropriate referrals when needed.

I enjoy long distance running, reading classic fiction, and long walks in the Surrey Hills with my wife and young daughters.
