About

Dr Declan Johnson is a highly experienced consultant neuroradiologist with more than 25 years of specialist practice in diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology.

His work focuses on the advanced imaging and treatment of conditions affecting the brain, skull base and spine, with particular expertise in complex spinal imaging and image‑guided spinal interventions.

Dr Johnson is based at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in London, a major teaching hospital where he contributes to specialist neuroradiology services and the training of future clinicians.

He is the lead neuroradiologist for the regional spinal multidisciplinary team (MDT) meeting, working closely with neurosurgeons, spinal surgeons, neurologists and pain specialists in the management of complex spinal conditions.

In addition, he spends a significant proportion of his clinical time at Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, providing specialist neuroradiology expertise and spinal interventional services for patients and clinicians across the local region.
