About

Dr Christos Mikropoulos is a distinguished consultant clinical oncologist with extensive expertise across urogenital, gynaecological, colorectal and breast cancers. His specialist interests include bladder, prostate and testicular cancers, stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR) and prostate brachytherapy. He also provides radiotherapy care for patients with haematological conditions.

Dr Mikropoulos trained in Clinical Oncology at several leading UK centres, including the Royal Marsden, Guy’s and St Thomas’ and the Kent Oncology Centre. He completed his MRCP in 2008, followed by an MSc in Oncology with Merit from Newcastle University in 2007. He went on to achieve his FRCR in 2013 and completed an MD (Research) in Cancer Genetics at the Institute of Cancer Research, University of London, in 2015.

He finished his Clinical Oncology training on the South Thames rotation in 2016. Following this, he worked as a consultant at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB), focusing on urogenital and gynaecological cancers. He now continues his clinical practice in Maidstone, treating patients with urogenital, gynaecological and colorectal malignancies.
