Dr Christopher Barringer

Dr Christopher Barringer is an experienced Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia at Nuffield Health The Holly Hospital. He specialises in interventional pain medicine and supports people living with long term pain through precise, targeted treatments.

He has extensive expertise in ultrasound and X ray guided procedures, allowing him to deliver treatments safely and accurately. His practice includes advanced techniques such as radiofrequency ablation, cooled radiofrequency and pulsed radiofrequency, which can provide lasting relief for many painful conditions.

Dr Barringer also specialises in neuromodulation. He offers spinal cord stimulation for persistent nerve pain and restorative multifidus stimulation, known as Reactiv8, for chronic low back pain linked to muscle dysfunction in the deep stabilising muscles of the spine.
