About

Dr Chintu Gademsetty graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2004 with degrees in Medicine (MB BS) and a Bachelor of Medical Sciences with Honours (BMedsci).

He began his career with basic surgical training, during which he developed a strong interest in orthopaedics and was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2007.

He subsequently spent a year as an anatomy demonstrator and research fellow at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital under the mentorship of Professor Harold Ellis, before securing a radiology training post at Barts Health.

After completing three years of general radiology training, Dr Gademsetty spent a year in the pharmaceutical industry with Norgine, a European specialty pharmaceutical company. There, he gained valuable commercial experience, with a particular focus on medical marketing and health economics. He played a key role in the UK launch of XIFAXANTA and contributed to its submission to NICE.

In 2012, he obtained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) and went on to complete subspecialty training in musculoskeletal radiology at Barts Health. His training provided him with extensive expertise in orthopaedic, rheumatologic and sports imaging, as well as proficiency in performing both diagnostic and therapeutic injections of the joints and spine.
