About

Dr Bethia Bradley is a highly experienced Consultant Physician specialising in Respiratory Medicine and General Internal Medicine, with over 25 years of clinical experience.

She trained in respiratory medicine at St Thomas’ Hospital and King’s College Hospital, London, equipping her with comprehensive expertise across the full spectrum of respiratory conditions. Her clinical practice is based at Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital and within the NHS at University Hospitals Sussex, where she provides consultant-led care to a wide range of patients. 

Dr Bradley has a particular specialist interest in chronic respiratory disease, including:

  • Bronchiectasis
  • Asthma and COPD (airways disease)
  • Interstitial lung disease
  • Respiratory infections and tuberculosis
  • Pleural disease 

To further enhance her care for patients with complex and advanced lung conditions, she completed a Diploma in Palliative Care from King’s College London in 2015, focusing on breathlessness and advanced respiratory disease management.

Dr Bradley is committed to delivering personalised, compassionate, and evidence-based care. She takes a patient-centred approach, prioritising clear communication, thorough assessment, and empowering individuals to better understand and manage their respiratory health. 

Alongside her clinical work, she has contributed to respiratory research, including studies presented at the European Respiratory Society Congress and publications on tuberculosis, COPD, and pneumothorax management. She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians, the British Thoracic Society, and the European Respiratory Society, reflecting her ongoing engagement with advances in respiratory medicine. 

Dr Bradley offers a full range of diagnostic investigations, including spirometry, pulmonary function testing, imaging (X-ray and CT), and sputum analysis, supporting accurate diagnosis and tailored treatment plans.
