Our Enhanced Prostate Cancer Screening Service provides a more accurate assessment of your prostate cancer risk than a standard PSA test.

The Stockholm3 test

It combines the PSA blood test with the advanced Stockholm3 test to give a personalised risk score and a clearer, more complete picture of your overall prostate health.

This screening programme is currently available at our Central London location and is delivered in collaboration with Prostate Cancer Research.

It contributes to an important research study exploring how advanced testing can improve the early detection of prostate cancer.

  • A short, simple and self-funded blood test
  • An accurate and personalised prostate cancer risk score
  • A more complete picture of your overall prostate health

What makes this screening different?

Traditional prostate cancer screenings use the PSA blood test, which measures a protein produced by the prostate. But, your PSA score alone cannot always distinguish between aggressive cancer and benign prostate conditions.

This can result in:

  • Unclear results
  • Unnecessary biopsies
  • Missed aggressive cancers

What is the Stockholm3 blood test?

The Stockholm3 test is an advanced molecular test that improves risk assessment by analysing:

  • PSA levels
  • Additional prostate cancer biomarkers
  • Genetic risk markers
  • Clinical information such as age and family history

These results are analysed using a specialised algorithm to produce a personalised prostate cancer risk score.

It’s important to note that the Stockholm3 test does not diagnose prostate cancer. What it does do is indicate to your doctor whether further investigations are necessary.

Re-testing recommended in 6 years
Normal Risk: 4 - 10% Your risk is within the normal range for your age and profile
