Profile:
Mr Timperley is a Fellowship trained specialist in hip and knee replacement surgery. He has completed a PhD studying the socket component of total hip replacement.
Mr Timperley's sub specialities include: Primary, complex primary and revision total hip and knee replacement surgery and soft tissue repair of hip.
In August 2010 Mr Timperley was recognised by the Daily Mail in an article about the UK's Top 10 Hip Surgeons. Uniquely, the study canvassed the views of top orthopaedic surgeons across the country and asked them “if your own nearest and dearest were to need a total hip replacement, who would you refer them to and why?” Impressively, Mr Timperley was described as “the leader of evidence-based hip surgery” who does “everything to the highest level, from the preparation through to the procedure and aftercare”.
Career History
Mr Timperley carried out his postgraduate education in the North West of England, the South West, London and the Midlands.
