Professor Vladimir Bobić is an internationally recognised Consultant Knee Surgeon and the founder and director of Chester Knee Clinic, based at Nuffield Health The Grosvenor Hospital, Chester, since 1996. The clinic is an ISAKOS‑approved Teaching Centre, reflecting its global reputation for excellence in arthroscopy, knee surgery and orthopaedic sports medicine.
With almost 30 years of specialist experience, Professor Bobić is one of the UK’s foremost experts in articular cartilage repair, sports knee injuries, knee osteoarthritis, and complex knee surgery. His pioneering work has helped shape modern articular cartilage and osteochondral/subchondral restoration techniques used worldwide.

Professor Bobić is widely regarded as a clinical pioneer in knee cartilage repair. He is the inventor and instrument designer of the Arthrex OATS® (Osteochondral Autograft Transfer System) — a breakthrough technology used globally for articular cartilage and osteochondral repair.
