Growing your own private practice, developing your career and skills are important to you. We work with our consultants to develop and manage private practice within our hospitals and to promote your expertise.

Because of our not-for-profit status, we plough all available resources back into the business to ensure our hospitals are equipped with the latest technology for efficient diagnosis and surgery. And you’ll have the resources to give your patients the time and support they deserve.

If you wish to be awarded practising privileges, which will allow you to practice private medicine at one of our hospitals, you must agree to and abide by the Nuffield Health practising privileges policy and provide us with some standard information according to our practising privileges criteria. All our consultants must, of course, maintain registration with the GMC and appear on the specialist register.
