Paying for healthcare treatment
I want to be treated at Nuffield Health, but how do I pay for it?
Choosing Nuffield Health for your treatment means you are selecting state-of-the-art healthcare, in a spotlessly clean environment, with the most professional nurses and dedicated specialists.
From experience we know that having made your choice to use Nuffield Health for your treatment, you don’t want to have to wait. That's why we have ensured that it couldn’t be simpler for you to pay for your treatment and thus receive peace of mind.
There are 4 ways to get treatment in one of our hospitals.
If you have private medical insurance, we may be able to work directly with your insurer. However, it’s important that you liaise with the insurance company before starting treatment. You can also pay direct or in some circumstances you can pay by medical loan.
If you’d prefer, you can simply pay direct, by cheque or credit card. We ask that you pay for your treatment 7 days in advance (10 days if paying by cheque), as this enables us to allocate the relevant rooms, equipment and staff for your needs.
Finally, you can arrange an interest-free personal medical loan to pay for your treatment. First Medical Loans, the company we work with, offer interest-free loans for up to 10 months.
In some locations and for some procedures, we have agreements in place with local NHS authorities to provide treatments in our hospitals. Ask your GP about the availability of these under the NHS choices scheme.
