How do I know my surgeon is fully qualified?
All consultant cosmetic surgeons should be registered with the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPs). At Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital all our consultants are registered with BAAPs.
Will the consultant I meet at my consultation perform the operation on me?
Yes. The consultant you meet at your consultation should you decide to go ahead will see you through your whole journey. They will perform your surgery/procedure and also see you in any follow up appointments needed.
Do I need to be referred by my GP for cosmetic surgery?
No. You do not need a Referral from your GP to have cosmetic surgery. When you are considering or have decided to have cosmetic surgery, contact the Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital and we can talk you through your each step of your journey and what to expect.
What happens if something goes wrong?

Unlike other providers our packaged price includes all aspects of your pathway, and you will not be billed for additional components later
What about payment, do I pay after I have had the surgery?
Our terms and conditions are that payment is made in full prior to surgery.
