What will happen at this event?

This event is for anyone who is suffering with Varicose and Thread Veins.

The event will include a presentation from our Consultant Surgeon Mr Sachin Kulkarni on the types of treatments that are available, as well as getting more information on what to consider if you're thinking about treatment.

The event includes light refreshments at the start of the session, and there is plenty of free on-site parking to the side of the hospital.

Learn more about Varicose Vein Treatment

Varicose veins develop most frequently in your legs resulting in enlarged and sometimes twisted veins. Although they are usually not a serious medical problem, varicose veins can be unsightly and uncomfortable. Your veins carry blood to your heart. Valves in these veins restrict the blood flow to one direction. Valves that weaken or that don’t close correctly cause blood to pool (collect) in a vein. This is called a varicose vein.

Yes, you are more than welcome to bring a friend or family member with you, but please let us know if you do so we can ensure they are catered for.

Yes, you will have the opportunity to ask both clinical and non-clinical questions during and after the session.
