Cataracts: new advances, new lenses, your guide through the treatment options
What will happen at this event?
This event is for anyone who is interested in cataract surgery and would like expert advice on eye health.
The event will include a presentation from a Consultant Ophthalmologist on the types of treatments that are available, as well as getting more information on what to consider if you're thinking about this treatment. After the presentation, there will be an opportunity to book a one-to-one mini advice session with our Consultant Surgeon for the following week on the 31st of July.
This does not replace a full consultation, but is a great way to find out more detail and ask any questions you may have in a private setting. It is also a good opportunity to talk through your options if a surgeon feels that you would benefit from treatment, and if there are other alternatives.
The event includes light refreshments at the start of the evening, there is plenty of free on-site parking and hospital tours can be arranged if required.
We look forward to welcoming you to our hospital.
