Before your assessment

When you’ve booked your appointment, you’ll receive an email prompting you to complete your online health risk assessment and choose your module before your appointment.

Trium® - our online health risk assessment

Trium is our online health risk assessment that includes a comprehensive questionnaire.

Your answers help us understand more about you and give us a detailed breakdown of your current health and the risk factors that affect it.

You may receive a call from a clinician if the results of your risk assessment flag something that needs discussing before your appointment.

Module Selection

Our Pro 1 Health Assessment gives you the opportunity to work through a 30-minute learning module with a Doctor. We’ll use Trium and the answers from your online health risk assessment to recommend the most suitable module for you and your overall health.

Alternatively, you can choose to change the recommended module to one that you feel is most relevant to your current health concerns.

  • Doctor modules
    • Bone health

This module includes a comprehensive risk assessment, additional blood tests, and detailed management advice from a Doctor. You’ll also receive additional signposting to other services if your condition or results indicate this as beneficial.

Please note, if you're interested in this module, please book a morning appointment.

    • General health and blood tests

A comprehensive blood test measures cholesterol, sugar levels, liver and kidney function. A full blood count ensures red cells are at a healthy level and white cells are behaving normally.

During this module, a Doctor will perform age appropriate and gender specific screenings, including a prostate exam, a smear test, and the relevant HPV checks.

    • Sexual function

Sexual dysfunction is common and can have several causes.

With the help of a Doctor, we’ll analyse signs of reduced sex drive, erectile dysfunction in men and sexual discomfort in women.

We’ll have you take a blood test to review any potential hormonal or metabolic causes alongside a detailed lifestyle and psychological analysis to provide a complete and comprehensive picture of your overall sexual health.

    • STI screen

Specifically for non-symptomatic individuals, this module includes a non-invasive genital sample. We’ll also conduct a blood test to screen for sexually transmitted infections.

    • Alcohol consumption review

This module gives you dedicated time with a Doctor to discuss any concerns related to your alcohol consumption. You’ll received tailored advice and guidance if this is an area of concern for you.

    • Bowel cancer screening

Here, a Doctor will conduct a non-invasive colorectal cancer screening for individuals aged 40 and over, ensuring all patients in this age group receive a bowel cancer test (FIT kit).

This screening is particularly important for those whose age, risk factors, or family history place them at an increased risk of developing bowel cancer.

During your assessment

On the day of your assessment, you’ll be taken through a series of biometric and pathology focused tests.

Your results will help you make sensible and informed health and lifestyle choices in the future.

  • BMI
  • Waist circumference
  • Blood pressure
  • Urinalysis
  • HbA1c (if clinically indicated)
