Nutritional Therapist

How can I help you improve your health?

The power of food to heal is amazing. I love sharing with people how small, simple changes to your diet can make such a difference to how you look and feel.

Sally is an experienced Nutritional Therapist and a member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists (BANT). She graduated from The Institute of Optimum Nutrition (ION) in 2011 and now has 2 nutrition clinics; Nuffield Health in St Albans and Nuffield Health Corporate Gym at Tesco Head office in Welwyn, Hertfordshire.

She works with clients who have a range of health goals including areas such as weight loss, digestive complaints, hormone imbalances, pre-conceptual care and stress management. She also works with clients who have been diagnosed with medical conditions and are looking to optimise their health through diet. Sally especially likes working with children and families and regularly delivers talks at schools across the county. Sally has also designed a new menu for Nuffield Health Nuffy Bear Nurseries which is currently being rolled out nationwide.

Sally also enjoys supporting others in the nutrition profession so prior to working at Nuffield Health, she was Head of Supervision at BANT and a Teaching Clinic Supervisor at ION. Her previous career as an HR Manager for a large retailer means that Sally understands the reality of juggling family, work and healthy eating so her approach is always non-judgemental and her advice is practical, simple and achievable.

In her spare time, Sally loves dancing, yoga and spending time with her 2 girls!

What is Nutritional Therapy?

The foods you eat can have a fundamental impact on how your body functions and feels. Nutritional Therapy applies the science behind food to promote health, performance and wellbeing.

Your registered Nutritional Therapist will use a wide range of tools to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and understand how these may contribute to your symptoms and health concerns. You will then receive a nutritional and lifestyle programme tailored specifically to you to help you achieve your health goals.

Nutritional Therapy is a complementary medicine and is relevant for individuals with chronic conditions, as well as those looking to support their health.
