TURN UP THE HEAT


 ICG HEAT by NuCycle is a fast and furious workout for those looking to challenge themselves.
In this 30-minute cycle HIIT workout you'll work with and against participants to win team battles and hit personal bests. Repeated hard efforts are followed by periods of rest to deliver maximum results in the minimum amount of time. Movements are kept simple and low impact so you can turn-up-the-heat on your performance safely.

Make the most of your class

ICG HEAT by NuCycle is a pre-choreographed workout class carried out on ICG® bikes. Visual triggers on the bikes and screens (where available) focus a rider‘s mind and body during high intensity interval training (HIIT).

We recommended you attend a NuCycle Baseline class first to be shown the correct bike set up and technique. Download the ICG Training App  to discover your individual training zones and power output (known as your Functional Threshold Power).

Your FTP score will ensure that the bike you use during an ICG HEAT class will be tailored to your unique training zone to achieve maximum results. Please ask your instructor for more details.


Lasting effects

ICG HEAT stimulates excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (otherwise known as the EPOC effect) and as a result, depending on how much effort you put into the workout, you will continue burning calories for up to nine hours after your workout ends.

The bike's console offers four screens for easy orientation through a wealth of data: WattRate® (Power), heart rate (if using a heart rate monitor), RPM (revolutions per minute), kcals, resistance level and distance. So whatever your fitness goal we have the data you need to succeed.

Don't forget...

This is a high intensity class - you're going to sweat. So remember to bring a water bottle and stay hydrated. Avoid loose clothing that may get caught on the bike and bring cycling shoes if you have them (optional).

Bring a towel too and prepare to turn up the heat!
