Grace and strength

This creative dance class combines the precision of Pilates, alignment of yoga and the grace and technique of ballet. Using a fixed barre you’ll perform a series of repetitive low-impact movements at varying intensities, working the muscles to fatigue to burn fat and sculpt the body.

This unique programme is designed to tone the thighs, lift the butt, sculpt the arms and flatten the abdominals.

In this class you will:

  • Burn fat
  • Increase muscle tone
  • Improve posture
  • Increase flexibility
  • Decrease stress
  • Improve stamina
  • As well as BarreConcept there are several other ballet-based exercise classes available at our gyms around the UK. These include:

    Ballet
A class for young children which follows the Royal Academy of Dance examination system.

    Ballet Fit
A combination of classical ballet, Pilates and contemporary dance, fused together for a slower paced toning class.

    Ballet Tone
Incorporating simple movement sequences from ballet barre work progressing to mat work, all to the sound of classical music.
