A graduate of King's College, Cambridge, Prof. Jolliffe completed a very broad medical training including General Practice and Accident and Emergency medicine prior to qualifying as a Dermatologist in 2004, enabling her to be well placed to provide holistic care for her patients. She is one of only a few UK Consultants to hold Fellowship/Membership of 3 Royal Colleges. As an NHS Consultant at Royal London Hospital, she has considerable experience in general dermatology including acne, eczema, inflammatory skin disease, skin cancer detection and skin disease in individuals with skin of colour.
She developed a special clinical interest in Hair Disorders over 10 years ago and has since authored several publications, and lectured extensively nationally and internationally in this area and was a founder member of the British Hair and Nails Society.
Prof. Jolliffe has worked with Pantene and Head and Shoulders as an expert advisor and has been a fundraiser for Alopecia UK. As Programme Director of the Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology, she has considerable expertise in global e-learning recognised by the award of a UK Higher Educational Academy National Teaching Fellowship in 2018. She is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists, The American Academy of Dermatologists, The European Academy of DematoVenereology and The Dowling Club.

Outside Dermatology she is usually to be found performing chamber music as a violinist/viola player and holds the ARCM Diploma in Violin Performance. She lives in London but adores exploring the UK countryside with her cockapoo Tilly. She has 3 grown-up children.
Professor Jolliffe has pioneered and developed the use of e-learning in teaching Dermatology globally and is Professor of Postgraduate Medical Education at Queen Mary, University of London. As a clinician she established the first specialist Hair Loss Clinic at the Royal London Hospital, providing personalised care to patients with Alopecia and training doctors and other members of the Health Care team in best practice for managing hair loss.
